World Flying Saucer Day / World UFO Day

World Flying Saucer Day (World UFO Day) is an awareness day for folks to gather together and watch the skies for unidentified flying objects. The day is well known by some on June 24, and others on July 2.

June 24 is that the date that flier Kenneth Arnold reported what’s typically considered to be the primary wide reported unidentified flying object sighting within the united state , while July 2 commemorates the supposed flying saucer crash in the 1947 Roswell incident.

The stated goal of the July 2 celebration is to raise awareness of “the undoubted existence of unidentified flying objects”and to encourage governments to release their files on UFO sightings.
